The first thing that caught my attention was the ostrich leather. Rare, rich, and beautifully textured. But the clean canvas body was such a quiet companion to the leather. I started to imagine this Jackie in full bloom. Layer by layer, amber-toned flowers were hand applied across the surface, I was excited to reveal a version of her that hadn’t been imagined yet.
Inspired by 昙花 - the Queen of the Night that blooms for a moment in the dark, and is gone by dawn. Some beauty is not meant to last forever. It is meant to be witnessed when it blooms, only once.
