I believe value does not disappear when an object reaches the end of its first commercial life.
Every luxury object embodies human imagination, craftsmanship, knowledge, material resources, and time. Long before it enters someone’s life, it has already become the creation of countless human decisions and skilled hands.
Yet once an object is damaged, abandoned, or forgotten, we treat that human effort and cultural value as if it no longer exists.
I cannot accept that.
I believe we have not yet imagined enough ways for that value to continue.
Rematch Room exists to research those possibilities. Through restoration, material experimentation, cultural craftsmanship, and circular business strategies, this studio explore how luxury objects can continue to create cultural and commercial value beyond their first life.
Every object is a case study.
Every intervention is a hypothesis.
Every object enters the studio with her loved marks, and leaves not as something new, but as the evidence, something LOVED,AGAIN.
Because every restoration is, ultimately, a love story between an object and its owner.
Ultimately this work is an ongoing investigation into one question:
How can something valuable preserve the value after the first life and imagine a second life?
Last but not least, for me, repair isn’t about returning an object to a moment that no longer exists. Time has already done its work. Rather than creating the illusion that an object never changed, I’m interested in discovering what that change makes possible…
