Reimagined Vintage Gucci Jackie Bag
'A small imperfection became the beginning of a landscape’.
The original Gucci bag arrived with several holes on the back panel. Instead of simply covering the damaged areas with isolated repairs, I choose to rethink the entire surface. A hand-embroidered floral composition was developed to grow organically across the well-loved canvas.
The flowers were never intended as decoration. They grew from damaged areas, turning a necessary repair into art practice.
